Pandit
Vaishnava tradition, Shukla Yajurveda, Madhyandina shakha; Ramanandi parampara of Ayodhya. He has practised in Ayodhya for 18 years.
The person
He grew up in a Ramanandi household near Hanuman Garhi and holds an acharya degree in Sahitya from the Sanskrit faculty at Ayodhya, where he still teaches two mornings a week. Eighteen years of his practice have been built around path: the Sundarkand on Tuesdays, the Ramcharitmanas navahna parayan across nine days, and the Vishnu Sahasranama for families who keep it monthly. He reads the Manas in Awadhi with the Sanskrit sankalp around it, and stops between kands to give the sense of what has just been read, which is why his sittings run longer than most. Diaspora families book him for the evening India slot that falls in their morning.
Where he stands
The school a pandit belongs to and the shakha he was trained in decide the order of the vidhi and the sound of the recitation. Both are stated rather than assumed.
Sampradaya
Vaishnava
Worship centred on Vishnu and his avataras. The tulsi offering, the Satyanarayan katha and the Vishnu Sahasranama sit at the centre of practice, and the samskaras follow the Vaishnava order.
Lineage
Shukla Yajurveda, Madhyandina shakha; Ramanandi parampara of Ayodhya
This lineage was confirmed in writing by his pathashala and vouched for by senior purohits who have practised alongside him. What was examined, and on what date, is set out under Verification.
Verification
Each check below was carried out by our team against a document or a person who could confirm it. A check is dated because a check from three years ago is a different claim from one made last month.
Aadhaar and PAN were checked against the name on his bank account, and a live video selfie was matched to both documents by our onboarding team.
5 Nov 2025
His acharya degree was verified against the university's convocation record, and the mahant of the Ramanandi math where he took diksha confirmed the guru-parampara he names.
19 Nov 2025
He recited the complete Sundarkand and the Satyanarayan katha sequence before a three-member review panel, which assessed his Awadhi pronunciation, the Sanskrit sankalp around the path, and the correct placement of the aarti and the vishram.
11 Dec 2025
He completed a recorded rehearsal from his path room: a single fixed angle framing the chowki and the rehal, a lapel microphone, and an uplink measured at 6 Mbps sustained over two hours of continuous recitation.
6 Feb 2026
A police verification certificate from the Ayodhya district office dated 12 March 2026 was received, along with a service reference from the Sanskrit faculty where he teaches.

Expertise
Specialities are the families of rite he has trained and practised in, not everything the catalogue offers.
Languages
The mantras themselves are recited in Sanskrit whoever performs them. What the list above changes is the language the sankalp is taken in, and the language the rite is explained in as it proceeds — which is the part a family follows.
Rites
Each one states its vidhi, its samagri and what differs between tiers before you commit to anything.
Ganesha
विवाह संस्कार
The Vedic wedding rite. Two families are joined before Agni, and the couple walks the saptapadi — the seven steps that complete the marriage.
Vishnu
श्री सत्यनारायण व्रत कथा
A household vrat kept most often on Purnima or a sankranti, in which the sankalp is taken first and the katha is then read aloud in five chapters before the family.
Hanuman
सुन्दरकाण्ड पाठ
The fifth kanda of Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas, read end to end in one sitting — Hanuman's crossing to Lanka and his meeting with Sita.
Ganesha
गृहप्रवेश संस्कार
The first entry into a new home — the kalash carried across the threshold, the dwar puja at the main door, and milk set to boil over on the new hearth.
Vishnu
विष्णुसहस्रनाम
The thousand names of Vishnu from the Anushasana Parva of the Mahabharata, recited with tulsi archana on Ekadashi and Saturdays.
Ganesha
नामकरण संस्कार
Performed on the eleventh or twelfth day after birth. The child is shown the sun, the janma nakshatra gives the first syllable, and the name is spoken into the ear before it is announced.
Ganesha
नवव्यापारारम्भ पूजा
Performed on the day a new shop, office or workshop opens. Ganesha is invoked first, then Lakshmi and Saraswati at the seat where the work will actually be done.

Sundarkand Path
At Your Home
5.0 out of 5
We hold a Sundarkand at home every Tuesday of Sawan and Panditji has done it for us for three years now. He pauses after each section and gives the sense of it in ordinary Hindi, so the children stay in the room instead of drifting off. He also brings his own harmonium player and does not charge separately for it, which he told us upfront.

Our first attempt at doing the katha ourselves. Panditji sent a two-page list a week ahead marking which items we could substitute in Germany and which we should carry from India when someone visits. During the katha he read one paragraph and then waited while we repeated the sankalp. He corrected my pronunciation twice, gently, and did not make me feel foolish about it.

He travelled from Ayodhya for our griha pravesh and reached the night before so there was no risk of a delay on the day. He walked the flat first, decided where the kalash would sit and explained why. My in-laws had one custom from their village that is not in his usual sequence and he simply made room for it instead of arguing.

The recitation was excellent and the recording came through cleanly. My only real note is on scheduling: he teaches on two mornings and those days are blocked, which is fair, but it took us three tries to find a slot that worked with our timezone. Once fixed, he was exactly on time.
